Therapist for Anxiety & Grief
Therapy Office

How I work

As someone who is constantly amazed and inspired by human capacity, I believe that with time, patience, and attention we are able to witness the healing of even our deepest wounds. My primary goal as a therapist is to create a safe and authentic space where you can explore your challenges and vulnerabilities. As we create a strong therapeutic relationship, you will always be met with warmth, humor, and an empathetic ear. Whether you're processing grief or traumatic experiences, managing stress and anxiety, or developing healthier habits, the therapeutic space will always be tailored to your specific needs.

A relational approach

As you take the lead, I will join as a confidant and partner, offering support as you face challenges with openness and curiosity. When working with others, I do not seek to advise, rather listen, creating a space for exploration and the development of self-awareness.

Through narrative, relational, and strength-based approaches, I will encourage you to discover new perspectives and insights into unexplored aspects of your story. You will find new ways to gain clarity and cultivate self-compassion. Like most adventures, while uncertainty can be scary, it often leads to wonderful discovery if you simply trust the process.

More about me

Warm and thoughtful therapist

Currently based in Austin, I am a Virginia girl with a heart for New Orleans – the magical city that I previously called home. I graduated from James Madison University with my Bachelors in Social Work in 2017 and continued on to receive my Masters in Social Work from Tulane University in 2018. I find that my passion for this work has been molded by my recognition of the beauty in human capacity, witnessing first-hand the power that comes from discovering the inner strengths we each possess.

Throughout the course of my career, I have had the privilege of working in a variety of settings, including community based organizations, school systems, and group and private practices. These experiences have shaped the clinician I am today and have been invaluable sources of wisdom that I carry with me into this practice.

Outside of the therapy space, I am a self-proclaimed foodie and curious explorer, spending much of my free time trying new things and making my mark on the Austin food scene. To stay grounded, I enjoy practicing yoga, spending time in nature, and of course – attempting to create masterpieces in my own kitchen.
